FAA Virtual Public Workshops and FAA-predicted North Phoenix Noise Impacts

The Federal Aviation Administration will host four virtual public workshops in May as part of the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project. The project is led by the FAA and proposes new and updated satellite‑based flight procedures to enhance safety and improve the efficiency of airspace serving Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and surrounding airports. The FAA has published and posted the Draft Environmental Assessment for the Phoenix Area FAA Modernization Project. The public is encouraged to review the draft in advance to better understand the proposed changes and prepare questions and comments. The public comment period has been extended to June 30, 2026.
