DVT Manager Ed Faron Recognized by AzAA
Ed Faron, Deer Valley Airport manager, has been awarded the Arizona Airports Association (AzAA) President’s Award for his efforts in assembling a legislative briefing book used at Aviation Day at the Arizona State Capitol.
This award is given at the sole discretion of the AzAA president for outstanding contributions to the association or the aviation community.
The briefing book contains information and photos of projects at airports across the state that were funded by state grant money. This illustrates the importance of the State Aviation Fund and the need to preserve it to continue to be the source of ADOT grant-funded airport projects.
This was the first time AzAA has worked to produce such a book and it has proven to be a useful tool.
